Dear All,
I had worked in one of the IT company and left because of my personal reason, i worked almost 1 and half year, but in my company some employee create a rumour that i got new job therefore i left the company and my director is almost like a hitler, without concerning me he had stop my experience letter but i had completed all my formalities for exit.
What should i do now..
Please help me ,,,tried all tricks.

Never surrender! You have absolute right to get an experienced letter. Have you served noticed period?? Approach in a professional manner.

Are you out of your company? Do you have any other related papers with you including the acknowledgment of your resignation mail? Do state clearly what else you have including the salary slip...

hey, you said its a rumour, then go and talk out the things and communicate yoouself to the 'hitler', and let him know that its not true, coz if you will not show up, he will have to believe that the rumour is the truth. so go and speak.

if you have your appointment letter and relieving letter with you, then you dont need experience letter. if you dont have ask them for relieving letter. that would suffice your requirement.

Thanks for concern...but i want to know the way out of it...

Actually in my company Expletter and relieving letter are both same.

after employee resign the director is not talking to them...face to face or via telephone also.

Yes i had completed my exist formalities and also paid for notice period. i got ful n final settlement copy also, but not the releiving letter.

Same day of ful-n-final i ask about my releiving letter but new HR told me, that director is very busy so signature pending , i can come any other day for collection but after taking appointment. I tried a lot with new HR for appointment but she is continuosly ignoring me ...saying that put a request email. same day i put a request email to company's both directors....than i got a reply that you had email to other director too, for that you have to take relieving letter from him only ...i know this is not under his head ......everybody in the company is suffering the same problem with that director ...many employees had resignation after i resign...they also had a same problem......

I had spoken to many employee regarding the same ....but nobody is ready to say anything..

Nature about the Company director: Always like to dominate employees for their work and in fornt of hs/her junior.

No trust on employees always...

Already done:

1)Followup via telephone,email,

2)Gone to office personally, waited so long atleast 2hrs at reception...

Next what to do ????

My friend suggested me to put police complaint but i am not favour of her.

What should i do now .....because followuping for more than 4 months is not easy and this is hike

hi,

you have every right to ask for an experience letter. assuming you have gone through the normal exit process of serving the notice period or payment in lieu of the same, it is the prerogative of the company to give you your experience and relieving letter. once you are out of the company, it has no business of holding back your relieving order and experience certificate.

before taking any drastic step, check if there's any sane person in the company, whom your boss listens and talk to them about this problem.

better still talk directly to the ex boss, explaining the situation, the rationale behind quitting and the reasons thereof. there's no harm in meeting him directly, suggest that you seek a direct appointment with him when he's not stressed up and get your relieving order.

also better avoid your ex colleagues, it appears that out of jealousy or some malice they have gone against you. go for a one on one approach and things will fall in place. else there's always the legal recourse (but use that as your last resort)

It is really bad that people still do all these out of jeolousy and personnel vendetta. They don't seem to be supporting to create a cordial atmosphere. Hi , you are right when you say that yo dont wanr to go for police compailnt. At the same time keep chasing them and dont keep anything verbal, put everything in writing and save all those emails, because god forbib, if you dont get the letter , you will have these series of correspondence as a proof to your prospective employer. And I would advise that keep chasing them. dont loose hope!!!!!!!!

Whoever that Hitler is,just file a case of mental harrasment against him.Send him a legal notice for not giving you a proper relieving letter and for harassing you for the letter.Let him come to the court with his lawyer and explain to the judge as to why he did not give you the relieving letter when you on your part had completed all the formalities.You have given your precious time for his company.Why should you then beg for the relieving letter from him.Pull him to the court and also ask for compensation for mental harassment.Belive me,you will win the case,as he doesn't have anything to defend himself in the court.Its a simple reson to file a case,but people like these need to be taught a good lesson for taking others career so lightly.
