Hi Sri:

Every corporate is practising of getting Bond for Freshers. Its for 18 months to 2 yrs. Its not new. So do not be worried.

First try to get your certificates. Apply for duplicate certificates, if possible.

Parallelly talk to your management and make sure your concerns are addressed. You need to be smart, you will have to get your way out. Remember where ever you go out in this world the situation would be the same. So its for granted that you will have to say here. Mans best learnings are from his sufferings - Always remember this.

Put every effort to learn new things. The next 2 yrs would just go by. Luckily you are at clients place, so you have every opportunity of learning new things and interacting with knowledgable people.

Do not be panic. Its not the end of everything.

Instead of getting into Legal terms and wasting time, focus on your technology and work. 2 yrs experience is more that 2 Lacs, you would realise this after completing 2 yrs. Do not be worried.

Take care.

Hi Radhika,
Yeah every company is taking bond of max. 2 yrs. but here they say that 2 yrs. excluding the probation period means total 2yrs. + 9 months probation + 3 months notice = 3 yrs. total. and i am not able to do my small personal things like paying bills and bank work...and am not granted a single leave i mean i have kept 5 leaves but have worked 7 days extra in this 6 months and no holiday on sat..i dont guess man can survive like this also....but ofcourse its of waste going into legal rather it would help me only if i improve tachnical knowledge and then when right time comes i should raise my voice..!!
Anyways..thanks for the response radhika...

Hi,
Just check out from other senior employees of the company that what other guys in a similar position like yours did earlier and what was the company's response to them.Once you have this info you will be in a better position to act.
Secondly try to get hold of a good job in the market, then think of leaving the present employer.
Thirdly go to the higher authorities (not the one who is not granting you leaves:))and tell them your concerns. If your concerns are genuine and reasonable I am sure they are going to help you out with your concerns.
Nobody wants to loose a employee because of trivial reasons. And I am sure the people at the very senior level will be capable else they would not have reached their positions.
After all this if you concerns are not addressed,I think you can get a duplicate of all your certificates from the university and join another job.
The bond as such has no value as the company has not spent any money on you. So,it will not be tenable in a court.

Dear Sri,

Sorry to hear your case and for giving a late reply, I did not spot it earlier.

If you had not given/ submitted your original testimonials I could have suggested you how to break free of the bondage, but now you have two options:

1) To get back the orginals first by hook or by crook and then I can tell you how to proceed.

2) If the above is not possible consultant a good lawyer. The lawyer must either be dealing with employment issues or should be a top class criminal lawyer. I will not comment on the way to proceed because it would be naive on my part to do so.

This much I can tell you that once you have submitted the originals this is not the forum where people will be able to help you out. It is a serious issue which requires solid professional help which can only be solved face to face.

The only thing I may take permission to advice is explore the option of registering a FIR against the Company to get your papers back, but please consult a good lawyer before taking any action otherwise you can land yourself in a bigger mess.

Hi
Per me no Company can make individuals sign bond unless there is an investment made in an employee by Training him (hold god for freshers). You can leave the organization with no hastles in your mind. The next piece of advise would be to get the documents scrutinized by Corporate Lawyer to understand the meaning of legal terminologies.

Hello
Why are you so worried?
I am from HR department and I will suggest you that starting behaving BINDAS :D with the company.
Sharpen your technical skill and start looking for a new job. Start absenting yourself and appear in Interviews for another job. Either company will mend its ways or you will get a new job and do not leave company unless you have some solid proposal in hand.

Hi Amit,
Thanks for the suggestion but you are knowing abt the mgmt. here.
he says: " how can you keep a leave without my permission..?"
and moreover my problem i still dint complete an yr. atleast to get another good job i have good communication skills and also technical stuff but lacking written experience letters....and the most imp. thing is "MY ORIGINAL DEGREE CERTIFICATES ARE WITH HIM" so on this point he is playing with every1 here as all employees submit originals here.

I am also working with same kind of Management where No leave is permitted. Your actual problem is “Originals” with the Company and Not the bond money or experience.
Serious advice is have patience because other side of fence may not so Greener as you are looking for. You have already completed 6 months, stop crying and complete your minimum time of 2 years and mean time try to get your originals backs using any innovative idea.
Legal path will only demotivate you and it is a time taking process.
Have Patience and maintain your self-esteem high
Best Wishes
Amit
