Hi Kiran,
Thanks for the efforts putin by you. As per the breakup given by you, even then the inhand salary is less than the min. wage quoted for Delhi (unskilled) = Rs. 3312/- (feb 07 not yet aware). So my query remains the same.
How to get the salary break up for Rs. 3400/- which is legally correct?

Dear Amit,
Thanks for the clarification, that means break up of Rs. 3400/- can be in following way:
Basic: 1360
HRA: 680
Conv: 800
other allow: 680
Please confirm as the total "wage" is equal to 3400/-.

Dear Sashmita,
Sorry for late reply.
But the sum total of these figures comes more than 3400/-. So you can make it like this also-
Basic: 1000
HRA: 500
Conv: 800
other allow: 1100
Because paying more Basic may lead to more PF deduction and less in hand, but these employees are already getting less so we should try to make it like that they should get more in hand salary.

Hi,
Can u help me getting a salary structure with Basic, HR, Conveyance, Medical reimbursement and Special allowance components for a candidate who has 3 yrs of experience in IT.
