I got a job offer from an IT company. They wanted a pre-employment medical checkup done. I got that completed as per their list of medical tests. All is well except cholesterol level is off the good limits. I have sent them the results and waiting for response for them. Does it make me unfit? Can they deny employment on such things, which can be controlled by diet and medicines?

Dear,
Every employer have right to select good candidate as per his own satisfaction. It is naturally thinking of employer. It is totally discretion of the employer to check medical condition of candidate and take appropriate decision. However, the diseases of cholesterol is curable and not to worry.
