Q1: I think its an issue of faulty job analysis (once he is re-hired) which led to employee dissatisfaction and drop in productivity.
Q2: Suresh displays a closed behavior and is not ready to take feedback, however he is demotivated also.

Thanks for the initiative. But we need to 'discuss'. So keep posting ur thoughts, learnings, any useful tips. I guess there is no point in sitting back and waiting for help to arrive.
