I am working in HR Dept with one company where we have 6 days week working culture and we have weekly off only on Sunday. Recently we have proposed 5 days week culture so that all our employees will have weekly off on Saturdays and Sundays or it may be alternate Saturdays off.
with respect of this we have

SL-7
Can anybody give some eg as how we can work it out, we dont mind if all these leaves are taken & new leave policies are implemented.
Kindly help me in this regard

Dear Divpraksh,
Its good that you have proposed a new work culture i.e. working for 5 days in a week. In case if you are going to give Saturdays and Sundays as weekly offs then i would suggest that you extend your company's work timing.
For example: If you are working from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm then you can extend your evening time by 1 hour or by 1 and 1/2 hour.
In this case your Saturday's work will also get completed in the remaining 5 days and your employees can enjoy their weekly offs.
In case if you are planning to work half days on Saturdays then you can extend your 5 days timing by only 1 hour.

Dear Ankit,
Its true that if any one proposing 4 saturdays off the timing of the office should be increased, but i our campany we have 2 saturdays off and we would want this to be all saturdays off. If we give a proposal to management what should be the justification .
Please give me reply soon.
