If you have at least five years membership in PF you can take advance for construction of house. Apply in form 31. Regards, Madhu.T.K

Dear Dharam & Raj,
Below are some of the circumstances when one can withdraw a loan from the EPF fund.
1. Separation from the Company (Resignation / Termination)
2. Withdrawal from the Fund in case of Purchase of site, construction of house, Minimum contribution period should be of 5 years.
Advance for repayment of loans, Minimum contribution period not less than 10 years.
Advance for serious illness,
For self/Son/ Daughter marriage, Minimum 17 years of contribution to the Fund.
Natural calamaties,
3. In case of death
Hope now it must have been clear with you.

Dear Amit, Advance from PF for marriage is availabl;e if the employee has at least 7 years (not 17 years) of membership. Please correct if I am wrong. Regards, Madhu.T.K
