i am a fresher n just joined as an HR executive in a manufacturing company n want to knw how to fill ESIC and PF challans .what are the necessary things to be known while filling the challans..

Please find enclosed attached herewith ESIC & EPF Challan format in excel.
I hope it will be helpful for you.
ESIC:- El'yee Contribution :- 1.75% of Gross Salary (To be deduct round up)
El'yr Contribution :- 4.75% of gross salary
upto 10,000/ p.m.
but I heared ESIC ceiling has raised from 10,000 to 15,000
but effected date is not confirm.
so pls confirm this carefully .
EPF:-
A/c 1:- 3.67% of the basic+da upto 6500/- (el'yer cont.)
A/c 1 :- 12% of the basic +Da upto 6500/- (el'yee cont.)
A/c 2:- 1.10%
A/c 10:- 8.33%
A/c 21:- 0.5%
A/c 22:- 0.01%
Total :- 25.61%
