Who will issue form- v to sub-contractor
We are engaging certain number of contract labour in our company through various contractors we have registration for our company under clra act 1970. one of our contractor engaging sub contractor for part works. sub contractor also engaging more than 20 contract labour the main contractor obtained labour license from concerned authority under whether subcontract required to obtain license from the said authority? if so what is the procedure and what are documents required ? who is the principle employer for sub contractor? who will issue form v to sub contractor?.

Dear sir kindly clarify the following. we are it company we have obtained registration under cla act to engage contract labour to our group companys. we have engaged one contractor who is supplying manpower to our diff establishments all to gether more than 20 contract labours are engaging in our diffrent establishment. now the question is that contractor is denying to take licence from the authrities since he is supplying not more than 5 contact labour to each establishmets. under these circumstances we the principlal employer how to convince the contractor over this issue. regards rns

Dear sirs i am working for a public limited company. we have engaging contractors for supply of labour. while fixing contract amount we have considered minimum wages employers contributions to pf and esi wc premium tds bonus etc for contract labour. we have principal employer registration and the contractor has labour licence pf and esi registrations pan etc. the bills are paid by cheque. in spite of this if the contractor having received all statutory payments default the statutory payments like pf contributions esi etc. what will be the responsibility of principal employer. we have proof of payment to contractor. kindly advise. regards cvr.
