That was a great idea for all to be awake after lunch.
Why dont you open a photography competition were the best theme based photo can be awarded a gift. This can help all to let there creativity out and also to know who all are creative in your firm.
Im my firm we brought this and instead of gift we had these(12 winners) photos in the calender 2010.
Wat do you think Pooja?

Keeping employees engaged requires skill and its best done with people who work from the heart. You seem to be a people's person and I am sure you will do well what you do.
I work for a telecom industry and I do run activities around the year for my colleagues. Here's how I do it .......
I have a cross functional team set up with high energy people who share the same interest. This team will be replaced every year to bring about fresh ideas and interests; they will be incharge to drive activities across zones all thru the year. A calendar is prepared and published to the employees taking into consideration all the special days that need to be celebrated. 1 minute Fun games, surprise spot awards, competitions, indoor sports, cricket etc are all part of this calendar. We also do blood donation camps, free eye check up camps for all are employees.
