gunjan first u tell me what are u getting right now, and if u r a Jr. Executive then u go for Executive or Sr. Executive.. and if u think ur capabilities are up to date and after u consider ur exp. u can decide for that....if ur exp and work says then you should try for asst. manager.. and about salary first tell me what r u getting becuz what market is paying for designations is no matter but the matter is what r u getting becuz no company will pay u more than 30-40% hike..

hi Gunjan
I think it is the right decision to change your job....Hopefully you can look for the position one step ahead of the earlier e.g Executive HR, Coordinator HR, Executive- People Management etc.
As far as your package is concerned get to know the pay packets of the persons at same levels in company wherein you want to apply. it also depends on your negotiations with the interviewer.... if you succeed to impress them , you could be offered the package of your interest...

Hi Gunjan,
It is right time to change from the present company. Presently our HR professional is being treated as good asset to the company. If you are sure that you can manage with HR operations then you can jump to the higher position like Sr. HR Executive, Executive - HR operations etc..,
Corporate companies are offering good packages for HR professionals around 2 lakhs p.a.,
You can keep the above while negotiating with your new employer.

Hi Gunjan,
Salary hike/ raise/ promotion of an HR Executive or any Designated Employee depends on certain factors like-
1) Professional Qualification/ training including the institute where the degree was attained
2) Years of Experience & Stability
3) Job Knowledge
4) Soft Skills
5) Mental Configuration
6) CTC with the previous company
7) Brand Names attached.......etc
Take Note: The list is not all inclusive and might vary depending on the company.
With a in hand salary of 7K, you can expect a CTC of 1.25+.

Dear Gunjan,
You are in the very initial stage of your carrier. At this point of time you should focuse more on Profile and learning. definetly Money is Imp but you can compromise to soem extent . with your Expirience you can expect a package of 1.8+. and definetly above if you get an oppurtunity.
but dont compromise on profile. Since you have opted for HR as your profession growth in terms of monetary gain is comparatively slow. But try to give your best and you will achieve your end goal.
Best wishes
