I am facing with a problem i hope u can help me out.. there is a company which had taken bond or agreement as they call it. and they had taken my original marks cards. i left the company within the agreement period. they asked me to pay the money as per agreement or else they wont give marks cards. i paid a part of tht amount and gave post dated cheques for the rest. i wanted to know is there anythin legal i can do now to not pay the rest of the money? the salary they were paying was too less.. and the bond amount is too much. can u give me some suggestions? thank u

Hi i am working in an it company wherein bond was signed by a few employees travelling abroad for a period of two years. one of such employee has resigned now the facts are as follows the employee signed the agreement which was on the letter head of the company the agreement did not mention the bond amount. it only mentioned the period of two years. can our company invoke the bond and deny the employee of the experience certificate and relieving letter also in case the employee leaves without paying the bond amount how do we recover the amount of bond and whether such agreement is legal and can be enforced through the court of law please guide me thanks & regards ranji

Employment bond - signed 2 years of agreement in 100 rupees of stamp paper - is such bond legal in india?
I have joined a company where i signed 2 years of agreement in 100 rupees of stamp paper. in the bond they have stated if i breach the agreement less than 2 years i have to pay 1 lakh rupees but they can terminate me anytime with 1 month of notice. i am working for 3 months only. so i want to ask a. is this onesided bond? b. is such bond legal in india? kindly help me.
