Hi All,
I work in an IT firm in Mumbai for the past 1.4 years. I had signed a 2 years bond with the company when i joined.
However, i have to leave the company as there is no growth, no appraisals whatsoever. Also, i got a new job somwhere.
but when i resigned and asked for my relieving letter and experience letter, they said i cannot leave the company as i am under a bond.
So now i am stuck up. Also, i was provided no professional training by the company. So can you help me with this? I don't have much time left with me and i don't want to continue working here.
Also, when i asked for the copy of bond, one of the HR refused saying it is internal to the company and cannot be given to the employee as it is with the vendor. So is this correct?
Pls help. Thanks in advance.

Nita,
My question to you is, how can you sign a bond without knowing the terms & conditions of it? If you know the terms & conditions of the bond, then why you are asking a copy of it to the HR now? Please provide us more details about the bond for further steps.

Dear Nita,
Do not worry and go forward for the new company. As far as bond is considered it is not legal, company stands no chance in Court of Law since as you mentioned no cost on training was incurred on you.
Check with your new company whether they are willing to take you with out the relieving letter since it seems impossible for you to get the same from your current company.
Concentrate on your new assignment & Best of Luck for the future.

Hi All,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Shriya,
Thanks for your sweet words. I can't tell you how much relieved i am after reading your reply.
Rajesh,
I know I acted really stupid when i did not read the terms of the bond. However, let me try again to check if i can get the bond copy. I will update you on this.
Thanks once again.

Hi All,
Had been to my native place after i resigned from my company. I got a formal exit from my company with the relieving letter and experience letter. All thanks to my project manager who supported me till the end.
Thanks to all of you who heard my problem and gave me prompt and helpful responses.
I need ur help again to help me find a job. The new offer fell out and now i want to work.
So if there are any openings in KPO for back office with around 18k in hand salary and located in Central Mumbai, it would be really thoughtful of you. Also, no night shifts preferably.
Thanks once again.

Hi Guys,
I am here with my new query. Hope someone can help me out.
My sister recently left a thrid party BPO which is one of the top ten BPO's of India.
She left the BPO without serving two months notice period. However, she sent a formal resignation by email and submitted all documents to the company. Now, we got a letter from M M Legal Associates saying we have to pay 60,000 to the CO. or else they'll take legal action.
But the funny part is that she worked there for hardly 2 months and used to fetch a salary of 13,000. She did not undergo any formal training for the job. I dont know why they are asking her to pay 60,000. Now they have asked her to reply within 7 days and we dont know what to do? we haven't informed our parents or they'll worry about the same.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Since, your sister was on probation period. On Probation an employee can leave job any time.
Just send a reply to your employer that Since I was on probation period, so I can leave any time, For No dues, kindly tell me the time, so that I can come company and handover the charge.

Hi Ranjeet,
Thanks for the prompt response. Yes, she was on probation period. But there is a term mentioned in the appointment letter saying that if the employee leaves without serving the notice period they will take the money in lieu of salary and so on.
Also, in the legal notice it is mentioned that 'Our client due to such abrupt, sudden termination of ur services, have suffered grave loss harm and injury. ' What does this mean?
Also, what does this No Dues mean?
So do you think that we should write an email to the TL of my sister for no dues certificate from the company. She does not need any relieving letter or experience certificate?
