I dont think they will ask such question. If they ask then tell them that you really want to work for nationalised bank in india with a good track record. PNB is one of the highly reputed banks in india and has a very good name in the banking sector . You can tell that you would like to work with good banking employer who can provide job satisfication and learning through intercating wide range of customer base (urban & rural).
Wish you all the best.

Such types of question is very common in banking interview.you must give the positive &straigtforward answer like-i want to join this bank because of
status, quick promotional scope ,and good salary and for other facilities porovided by bank to their employees like home loans at low interest and some interest free loan, leave fare concession etc etc that you can not have
in any other sector so easily.if you have any futher query email at-rana_burrediffmail.com
