Dear Priyanky, You can start by looking at the web site of SAI Global (Standards, Compliance, Ethics, GRC, Auditing, Certification, Training). Then look at the tools available from Qudos Management (ISO9001 Quality, OHS, ISO14001 Environmental software & services | Qudos). Both were used by my company - Project Professionals Group) to secure ISO accreditation recently.

Hi,

Where your IT company is located?I can get your IT company ISO 9001:2008 certified in 4 Months as I am a Quality Manager and a ISO Consultant for my present IT company and got our this company ISO 9001:2008 from GIC,certifying body for ISO.You have to spent about Rs 125000-Rs 150000 for your company to get ISO certified in 4-5 Months which includes my consultancy fees, training and registration from respective ISO certifying bodies. You require about Rs 75000/- for Consultancy and Rs 75000-100000 for Certification bodies Auditing Fees.

For your information,ISO 9001 is about bringing Quality Management System for your IT compancy ie by defining Quality Policy,Departmental Quality Objectives,Quality Procedures,Corrective and Preventive Action for Software Bugs,IT Infrastructure issues,Delivering Projects on Time with continual improvement for Customer Satisfaction etc.You can conduct one Customer Satisfaction Survey to know about how your customer is feeling about your Services,Support and Project Delivery etc. This standard is only 14 pages but it worth of like a Bible which you read everday morning and practice.ISO 9001:2008 is excellent standard for IT companies by which there will be definite improvement in Quality Processes.

If you want to hire my this services to drive your company Quality Initiatives,I can bring drastic changes in your Quality Processes in definite six months time.I am based out of Bangalore but can help all clients who are interested in driving this standard for their companies.

"Say What You Do and Do what You Say"- Concept of ISO.

First of all you have to prepare a Quality Manual-comprising of quality policy, quality objectives, company procedures, checklist, process flow and procedure for various departments & their departmental objectives, organisation chart,Management responsibilty,Resource Management,Product realization,Measurement, analysis & improvement via corrective action request.

My sincere advice for you is that appoint one person each for individual departments. The relevant person will prepare the flow & document the procedure.Take a span of time and gather all the documents from each department & then go for compiling Quality Manual, which is more practical & will come out with good suggestions.

I have been working on ISO for around 8yrs & have implemented & got the certification for my previous organisations.

Make it a point, while getting the certification it should be a team work & it leads to more success.I have worked with 3 certifying bodies BVQI,AQA,SGS.Every where the system says the samething-"Say What You Do and Do what You Say".

I have attached a registration form from one of the certifying body, you can contact them directly or mail them for future guidance.
