I have taken up the task of preparing the employee engagement events calander for the year 2010 in our organisation. We organise monthly events for our employees. So I request for some inputs on the same. I also request to help me with a list of various corporate events that are practiced across different organisations. Thanks in advance..

When we design emplyoee engagement activities, general practice is cut, copy and paste( i.e. just imitating what others are doing) which leads to wastege of important resources like time, energy, money, etc......
Any Hr practice to work well shoud be based on univeral principles uniquley applied to specific situations.
Some points to consider before u design :
- type and no of emplyoees
- current job-satisfaction level
- type of daily work they are doing ( involving dominant physical or mental or emotional capacities)
........d list goes on.....
If u really want to make your activities impactful u need to design them based on scientific principles.........if u need my help .....i will b more than willing to help u to design any HR strategy or system.....
