Performance linked bonus - variable pay
Hi we have a performance linked bonus included in our ctc. this is equivalent to one months gross salary. and we said it is payable at the end of the year along with their appraisal. an employee left the company in december 2010. and while doing the final settlement the company did not take bonus into the f&f. the question is 1 should the company pay this bonus since it is a part of the ctc? if yes. what is the basis. if "no" what is the basis for not paying it

Hello in the new wage code it has been mentioned that basic salary should be 50 of gross salary less allowances. my questions are in lines of that 1 while calculating gross salary is hra as an allowance be reduced from gross salary considering that the hra is 50 of basic in case of metro. 2 can medical and travel allowance be reduced from gross salary for calculating the basic salary. 3 is performancelinked bonus to be considered as part of gross salary. further if performance linked bonusif is not considered to be part of gross salary can it be as high as 30 of ctc? 4 finally what is the concept of basic salary is it on gross salary or ctc which takes into account gratuity group personal accident insurance policies performance linked bonus employer pf contribution please clarify.

Dear all i have resigned from ab company within 7 months. now they have given me the full n final settlement sheet which does not contain amount against performance bonus which was shown as the part of ctc. the total ctc which i have agreed with them contains huge amount against performance bonus. now they are making statements like they will not give the same because i have not completed 1 year and your performance was not satisfactory so n so. but there is no such a condition in any paper that performance bonus will be entitled after one year or it will depend on performance. so i think i should get it. please give me advice. can i go through labor court? regards jayant gajare 08903111884

Greetings to all seniors i recently joined a trading company as an hr generalist in faridabad i found some flows in our company\\\'s current salary structure in which gratuity is a part of ctc it\\\'s over and above gross salary and apart from gratuity bonus and leave encashment is also a part of ctc. due to which lot of employee have confusion and dissatisfaction about their salary package that what they were offered and what they are getting as their in hand salary. now i am confused. can gratuity be a part of what is a legal framework in this. because i always listen and understand that gratuity is a kind of loyalty bonus to employee who worked more that 5 years in a company and there is no deduction from employee salary part on monthly basis. but here in our company it seems as a deduction being a part of ctc. plz help me out with your valuable replyies so that i can approach our director for the required changes. thanks rishipal saini
