I want to know If a person already drawing Pension from Provident Fund Account and now he has joined another Job, how he can be a Member of P.F. please clarify with details & Options. Bhopal Singh

Dear member,
A person drawing pension presuming to have attained the age of 58 years and still continuing with the same employer can contribute to the PF. However, no contribution will be diverted to the pension contribution.
Secondly, if a person drawing a pension and/or aged above 58 years joins a new employer, then, in that event, the new employer is under no obligation to deduct his PF as his status with the new employer is that of an excluded employee as defined under para 2(f) of the PF Scheme.

Dear Bhopal Singh & Pathak,
If a member draws a pension under EPS-95, there will be no further contribution to the pension fund. The full amount will go to the individual PF account. There is no question of whether the pension drawn is before or after 58 years.
