Dear Friends
I am currently working as a HR Manager in a reputed company in Infrastructure. I have got an offer as an HR Head in Telecom Sector (Small Company) with appx 30% hike in the salary. There are no proper HR Systems in that company and I need to frame a good HR Systems and practices. I would like to know your views - Should I take this offer or not. If Yes / No - Reasons for that.
I am some what confused at this stage hence I need some suggestions based on which I can take a call.
Regards
Amar.

Dear Mr. Amarnath,
I think that joining another company with 30% hike is really good but as there are no proper HR Practices & you yourself will have to start the practices. You should put forth the management your plan for implementing new HR practices & confirm whether they would be backing you / give you a free hand in the implementation process.

Hi
I agree with Santosh. If the company is really interested in building up a complete HR department around you I would not think twice - better salary and better working opportunities! I believe you could get some really interesting experience here that would help your career in the longer perspective.
But make sure what kind of visions the company have for HR - 1 to 2 years down the line.

Hi Amar,
Implementaion, research and develop with a high risk, without any stability should be ours view of working. So you can take a chance, as it is also said that falaiur is the pillar of success so there is nothing to afraid. My other two friends has also suggested to the nice thing. I.e you can develop your self.
