Working on one private consultancy as a business development - bit of fear about my career, whether am moving in the correct direction
I have completed be in mechanical engg and did mba in marketing in singapore. after completing my studies i have done 6 months intern in singapore but they haven t provided that certificate. later on i got an opportunity to start my own business then i successfully ran for 3 years and after that due to a shortage of manpower i closed my business. so currently i m working on one private consultancy as a business development executive. at this stage i have a bit of fear about my career whether am moving in the correct direction or i have to change my career. please suggest your opinion.
Can this "black mark of having an overlap of relieving and joining dates during the start of my career" still follow me for the rest of my career?
1. i got employed by employer x for 1 year start of career and resigned i have served a notice period with employer x and requested employer y to change my joining date as there is an overlapping of 10 days employer y is a workforce management firm who outsources employees to its clients 2. employer y asked me to report post completion of my notice period with employer x and didn t bother to change my joining date on the offer letter and a few years later employer z the client for whom i was working while i was employed with employer y wanted me to join them as a permanent employee. 3. employer z did not have any issue with the 10 days overlapping which i had with employer x and y during the bv and during the course of employment. 4. a few years later i got a better offer from employer a who also did not have any issues with the 10 days overlapping which i had with employer x and y during the bv and during the course of employment. 5. now i have an offer for a better position from employer b. my question is " can this "black mark of having an overlap of relieving and joining dates during the start of my career" still follow me for the rest of my career? note : all the employers mentioned above except employer y are the top mnc s in india listed in fortune 100.

Emplyee attendance
In one particular company whose office is situated in city commercial area and is covered by shop and establishment act. for marking attendace a registered is maintained where all the employees mark their attendance. the company has moved to biometric system of marking attendance. and a deviced is installed where all employees are supposed to mark their attendace. now is it necessary for employees to mark attendance both on biometric device as well as registere? is always necessary to have manual registers for marking attendance?the answer to this question may be given after giving due regard to applicability of relevant provisions of the applicable acts such as pf act and industrial dispute act etc.
Important query
Hi all i have a query. i started my career after completing ug in the year 2010 and worked in a company for 3 years. in the year 2011 i enrolled for a executive mba programme. then got a better offer in another company in early 2013 and joined them in aug 2013. by this time i completed 3 semesters of my mba and was awaiting for my final sem result. but did not have any of my mark sheets due to some technical issues with the university 2nd and 3rd sem mark sheets were not provided at that time and in my first sem mark sheet there was a printing mistake so i returned which they gave it finally while giving my fourth sem mark sheet. so i just said the new recruiter that im doing mba. so they offered me based on my experience and ug. i had an arrear in last sem which i rewrote and cleared in the next sem dec 2013. i finally got all my mark sheets and all other degree docs consolidated mark sheet prov certi etc by june july 2014. can i now provide all these proofs and update my educational details with my current employer. i also want to know whether it is a mandatory requirement to update my education details with current employer. i have plans for job change later this year so will this impact in background verification done by my new employer. please suggest. regards regards.
Masters or job?
i am a new member to this place. i have not done my masters yet but i am looking forward to start my career i have never been on a job so i don\'t have job experience i don\'t know my career direction as well but i have been advised my my brother to pursue a degree or atleat start a career in a bank and then do the master later on if it requires. please advice if its better to start getting work experience in bank or it better to go or do a masters first and then do job. thanks.
