Dear Avantika,

HR in simple words is said to be a "back bone of company" without which can cause problems in management.

If you are really interested in knowing this, just go through the concepts in detail and you will know the importance of it.

Broadly, HR management can be divided into two key terms- specialist and generalist. As the name suggests, HR specialist focuses on any one domain such as recruiting or training or pay roll, whereas a generalist handles a number of areas and tasks simultaneously without being focused on any one task. For smaller organizations, there are generally two-three people in the HR department who are generalists and handle all areas pertaining to HR. However, in bigger organizations where there are bigger IT teams, the roles become more specific and there are HR specialists who handle specialized areas. An MBA in HR prepares one for specialized roles. After the MBA, you may start as a generalist but can eventually graduate to specialize in any one function.

Thanks Carlos & Thanks to Avantika,

See,distance learning education doesn't matter but there are some companies hiring only those candidates who has done Full Time Course. but frankly speaking, if you have a knowledge & you want to excel your career then no matter from which university you have done your education.Just show the world what you have...

This is so easy...

But the problem comes at the stage where the candidate is fresher.He/She just want a single chance to come in the corporate or to start his/her career.

According to me, knowledge is required but if you have an experience then it will be added advantage.

So don't worry about your distance learning education.Only you have to prove yourself so try to find out more opprtunities & concetrate on your studies & always be ready to learn new things,to update with new technolgies.

Even I agree with Urvashi that to add any specialization diploma in your qualification because more you wil learn more you will make yourself update.Always try to gain some sort of knowledge of everything.

I heartly wish you all the best for your future.

Feel free to ask anything.

Thanks & Regards
