Dear Sir,
There is no pf deduction in our company, cos most of the employee arenít interest to participate in that. Even though we have informed many times.
So, Kindly help me on this. Is there any form like, I donít want to deduct pf from my salary.
Pls send if u do have it.

Deduction of PF becomes mandatory and unavoidable when in a company the no. of employees, who draw wages (basic+DA) upto Rs.6500/- p.m., reaches 20 or more.
It is a statutory compliance and not a matter of choice of anyone to 'participate' - it is obligatory once the above conditions are met.

mr prashant has replied correctly.it is not your choice .if your basic plus DA is less than 6500 per month at the time of joining.you donot have any choice but it is mandatory.once you become member than you will remain member irrespective your basic.

if the employee having one's basic + d.a below or upto rs. 6500/- and having employee strength above 20, than compnies has to compulsorily deduct the p.f. from salary, but if the employee strength is below 20( no. of employees ) than it's depends on the company to get is volutarilty registed under P.F. Act.
if the person having the salary ( Basic+ D.A) more than Rs. 6500/- than you can avoid for p.f deduction

As per Provident Fund & Misc. Act. you have to follow the guidelines of the act. It does not depend on the employees mood. If the employees drawing Basic + Dearness allowance is less then Rs.6500/-. The P.F deduction is must. If it exceed the limit then the employee can decide whether to deduct from Salary or not.

Dear If the strength is 20 or more and basic is 6500/its mandatory the option is not with employees.. request you to start deducting Rs.780 from this month salary,
Further if you donot have PF number or code,
Following documents are required,
Shop & Establishment certificate
Application for PF under the area.
If you already have the PF no than you are defaulting and please note its crime, your directors can land behind bars...

To all,
1) EPF coverage is applicable once the establishment's man power strength is crossed more than 20 in case of non power oriented and 10 in case power oriented establishments.For calculatinh the strength, all employees are to be counted including the directors who are on roll.
2) Once coverage applied,all employees will be under cover including those whose salary is more 6500/=(basic+DA)but deduction will be made only on 6500/=
3) In case of strength is fall down also, the coverage is remains.
