well guided above by all others two factors are crucial i.e.
1) Employee strength of an Organization.(No of Employees > 20 then P.F is mandatory, otherwise not mandatory but if still you wish, you can apply for it with the consent of employees)
2) Basic + D.A < or = 6500 Rs. P.F. is mandatory. otherwise its optional and you need to apply for it as a n employer confirming with the
employees)

About convincing your crew for the deduction, it's a difficult task wherein mostly those of the operative level workers give up and ignore continuing with the PF account had with their previous employer, they dont know how to get back that money, in most of the cases never turn to to previous employer/ PF Offfice in their location/an advicer of PF issues.

General view about PF for these group is 'salary cut' or a reduction in amount they take home. psychological perspective of these level of employees has to be taken into consideration while explaining them

It needs to be more legitimize by law & a eased avail of help to all these people. still as HR professionals we call it 'Deduction', for a normal man without a pinch full idea of EPFO, its probably becomes a salary cut and that needs an attention on bigger level either restructuring the whole or removing it considering the opinions and trends in PF.

Dear Sir,
This rule is corrct and known to all, but his problem is workers are not willing to enrol in to PF. We HR people in Tirupur knit wear industry facing this same problem and constantly making efforts and now we are able to bring them all under PF coverage.
HR may have to listen to those odd grievances also....

- your organisation should be in the notified area where the govt has notified that this area is covered for PF purposes, pl check this.
- like people have already expressed if the total of basic and DA is more than 6500, you or anyone has say, you have to follow it
- if it is more than that either you may extend it to other employees, but at that time all the employees have to be extended, not to only who opt for this
- IMPORTANT IS PF IS SOCIAL SECURITY ACT, WHICH IS USEFUL IN THE LONG RANGE, PL GET SOME OFFICIALS FROM THE DEPARTMENT AND ASK TO EXPLAIN THE BENEFITS OF PF, THIS MAY CHANGE THEIR VIEW POINT ALSO

we have employees more then 20 and their salaries are more then 30000/- PM... Employees do not want to enroll into PF .Hence we need to take declaration and submit form to PF office .
Is there any format please share me .
