Archna...well don't know what actally you are looking for. You said that money is not a matter. You also said that you have already written some mails. Still...you like to, ("in your words" ) want to teach her some lessons. Then, "Kuch nahi karney ka...thodi si Gandhigiri karney ka" that means be good to her in every possible manner.
Keep on sending mails to her...once in blue moon.
Send greeting cards on her birthday, new year or whatever festival you celebrtae in an year. Yes, when you continue to interact with her...once in a while also remind her...what she did to you.
I know, it might be difficult...but it helps. I do practice these things when I come across such people. It helps. It brings down the image of that person in his or her own eyes. And you win, without harming the person, without hurting the person, by being nice to them.
Its like being a "Sugar Coated Knife".
I hope this will help you to some extent.

Well…………….. I know that you want to teach her a lesson but have you heard the saying “An eye for an eye will make the whole world go blind”???
Anyway what you can do is since you know that your consultancy has helped her to get a job, why not you call up her workplace??? Maybe if she still refuses to budge you can ask for her Manager or colleague and pretend that you can’t get through to her due to her constant traveling and say that you would just like to leave a message and narrate the story. Maybe after getting this massage she wouldn’t ant to ignore you any more.
All in all I say that you also have learned a lesson thru this. In the future you can strike up an agreement as well as ask for an advance fee or something which could be refundable under circumstances or something.
Hope all will work out fine for you!!

Hello Pradeep,
Thank you for your mail. If you say I'm too good to be in this business I agree with you, at times even I felt so, but I'm good only for people I trust and I trusted this lady b'coz she is a part of this forum.
I took this project simply b'coz she was a member here and she was the one to offer the fees, and I thought when she is ready to pay why not take the fees later on, so for the first time I didnt charge any advance.
I'm in this business for quite sometime now, and we have clients in Germany, NetherLands, hongkong etc. but this is the first time I have encountered this problem.
Anyways, I think I will learn from this experience.
Thanks a lot for your mail
Cheers!!

Hi AS & Vennupuru,
Thank you.
Making a dummy id and then calling her will be again cheating, which I do not consider a right way. Although when I first read your mail, I thought of doing it :D but then I dont want to spend my time and money over a person who does not understand ethics and values.
Well, lets see what I do now.
Sanjeev,
I know I have learnt a lesson which I will never forget in my life. If your read my mails I'm in this business for quite sometime now and generally sign an agreement with clients, which I did not do purely on my trust.
Gandhigiri- this idea I also liked and actually doing this only from past few months. I also sent her e greeting on Christmas, New Years and also on Id.
Thanks a lot
Cheers!!

Dear Archana,

This is very sad that a big and very good consultancy had a problem from the candidate.

All here in Cite hr have come from a very good backend professionals. We indians have a priority basis in helping others but, others take advantage of this. I don't know why?

As you are into consultancy hope you might have very good rapo or good contacts of the employee and employer to whom you have sold this candidate. If in that such case you have a direct phone call to the employer and take his or her details and send a hard copy of you communication to the firm (to whom you have sold the candidate).

As you said you have lot the contact details you have apply for a other sim and apply for Itemised bill or details bill on request.

Through this you can get some details for you information and one more thing you can contact a best lawer how we can sue on perticular candidate.

As you said the firm is on your father name this could be bit difficult task. What you can do you have show your-self a acting working employee of the organisation not as a proprietor of the firm. (Act according to the situation).

This is very delicate issue handle it in a sensitive manner.

Try reaching to the candidate by other mail id.

Chat through any id and make candidate to be in touch with you. Make the candidate you are the only on this earth where you can help.

Use some tatics and play as according to the situation.

I do understand you might have spent more money for processing on this candidate. You spend a little some more money and try to reach in contact any possibility way.

All the time we understand and think in a positive way. Now show the reality that we can also think in a negative way and show how we can reach them in all the possibility.

What I would like to say you that all the time when you are processing to any one think in all aspects. Firstly think in Negative way ( why I am saying this because we know the positive way to approach). Some times even negative thinking helps us in giving positive ideas.

Use all your contacts to reach the candiate in all the possibilities.

* You start your search from Employee Top management.

Please do send your clarifications and feedback if you feel it is correct.

Hi
In my suggestion, just leave the issue as it is and be careful about your future assignments.
If you start digging, it will go on and end up with no result
It is better not to waste your precious time for some thing which you cannot get it back.

Thanks Ashra,
I agree with your point, when I said I want to teach her a lesson I never mentioned that I will do something which can harm her in anyway, if I had to do that I had gone to the legal department and not to this forum.
I want to spread this message across to her, as she is a member of this forum, but hardly seen after the incident.
I dont deal into placements, I deal into career growth, competency mapping and designing, traning and development etc. But surely I have all the details where she is working and who is her boss etc.
Thank you for your suggestions.
Cheers

Hello Sridhar,
We have a wonderful reputation among all the clients we are catering to.
But to make it more clear, ou consultancy does not deal into placements and recruitments, we deal in competency designing, career graph designing, career counselling and training and development.
We only take big projects and for long term, it was a matter of chance that I took this project from her b'coz this lady wanted a job and want us to design her career graph and competencies, which her employer asked from her.
I have itemised bill with me, but it was her who made all the calls and not me, and most of the service provider do not give itemised call description of calls received.
So, it is again a problem.
Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions.
Cheers

Hi Archna
My addition..
Incase you have communicated to her through mails to which she has replied on her concurrence on payment..this can act as an evidence in the courts of law as per the IT Act. If you would like to go ahead with legal way. You may have some problem incase she is not an Indian National
If you know her current employer, you may raise your concern to her employer who may inturn can seek clarification from her
Raise her name in the forum and let us all batter her out...;-) from Cite HR atleast!
I am sure you will keep the precautions in place in future..so move forward...
Njoy!
