Dear Rhiana
I hope the attached document helps.
There is no easy answer for you I am afraid. As 'the client' you are going to have to define the 'must haves' and 'nice to haves' for each training module to be designed. These need to be identified in the form of key 'knowledge', 'skills' or 'behaviours' that the training needs to address.
- Knowledge - easiest to transfer in a training situation. e.g. attendees must 'know' the principles of how to make presentations
- Skills - harder to transfer in a training situation but should be possible e.g. attendees must demonstrate the ability to present
- Behaviours - hardest to bring about lasting change in a training environment e.g. attendees must always present professionally - impossible to measure in a training situation!
