Rashmi Naware
Hello friend,
Need your help.
Our office is located at Mumbai and company head office at Delhi, we are having PF account at Delhi. An employee who resigned from his services worked with us for 5 years and 1 month. His age is 52 years.
Is it true that he is not eligible for Family pension scheme because he had completed his 10 years continuous service with our company?
If he is eligible what documents he required for the claim of EFP and which form he have to fill.
Thank you.
Regards,
Rashmi

Dear Rashmi,
For pension minimum service required is 10 years. (9 yrs & 6 months will be rounded up to 10 yrs). But continuous service is not required. Break in service, service in various organisations are also admissible.
