My sister who is a delhi govt.employee,had been requesting for leave to join her husband abroad for 8m but was denied twice.So ultimately she proceeded for leave without permission and left behind a departure report and her address during the leave period.Her leave plea was rejected saying ''shortage of staff'' while all the vacancies were filled.What can be the consequences of this?PLZ reply.
Leave can't be taken as a matter of right. If there is a need of an employee employer is not bound to sanction. Go on leave without permission is a part of misconduct for which an enquiry may be instituted.....
of course, leave for 8m cannot be granted in continue, enquiry by govt deptt. may be started ganesh nautiyal
