Esic mandate clarification required for manufacturing company
Dear all need a clarification on a point related to esic deduction. the rule that esic is mandatory for people having gross salary is less than or equal to 15k is i am very well aware of. but need clarification if the company is a manufacturing company & employees are covered under accidental insurance then it is not mandatory to have esic for them? does it depend on the factory location any which ways? request you to please throw some light on this. regards shubhada

Dear all seniors i am seeking clarification for the below issue on leave. one of our staff took a medical leave in the month of may. he haven t submitted his medical supportive documents till now. we have a policy that a loss of pay would be if failed to submit medical document by the employee. if he is submitting medical document this month can we reimburse the holded one day salary to the employee? please advice icon1::icon1::icon1::icon1:
Validity of clarification by epfo
Pls go throgh the attachment containing a clarification on considering minimum wages as base for pf contribution. i could not understand how such clarification can be given when both the epf & mp act and mw act are defining the basic wage and wage differently. in the light of the prevailing law how far such clarification can sustain?

Clarification on employee pension scheme eps will be applicable or not respected seniors i am writing this post with reference to the above subject please clarify those joined epf for first time after 1 sep 2014 and earning more than 15000 rs in basic and da will not be contributing to the pension scheme eps. for new members joining the epf scheme on or after 1 september 2014 the contribution is required to be made only under the pf and are not eligible for membership for insurance schemeeps. both the employers and employees share 12 of salary each will be allocated fully to the pf a/c 1. please find the below attached epf gazette notification refer page 2 & 3 points 7 & 8. i request a favourable reply from from your end sir. thank you. yours sincerely austin
