My name is Rekha, I am pursuing B.com final yr through Distance education (O.U), I am very ambitious. I like to start my career early, because i wanted to gain more professional knowledge, and don't like to be a fresher after my graduation, which is why i have decided to work and study. I am working in a company under sales department. They are offering me 8000/month, so can u please suggest me whether i have taken a correct decision or not?

Dear Rekha,
You have taken a right decision.
But do remember to concentrate & complete your B. Com. in time. Try to gain hands on experience on ERP & Tally which might be useful for you in near future.
If you are planning to go for MBA, then go ahead.
All the best!

Narendra

Hi Rekha,
Good to see your zeal of learning things earlier and preparing yourself for future. Wishing you all the very best. As you have chosen working in Sales, always chose a profession that serves you a "PRISM" i.e.
Passion - should cover your likes, willingness & skills.
Race - Healthy Competition, Growth & Success.
Intelligence - Self Development, constant learning & Progress.
Society - should allow you to fulfill your social responsibilities.
Money - Ofcourse - Money Matters :)
Good Luck..

Good Decision!
I always felt sorry that I didnt think about working part time during my studies:(.
see My friend, (not through citeHR, but he introduced me to citeHR) Mammu007's online resume page My Resume. Working during studies has taken him very far.
Please check the sales department is the good choice or not. Sales Coordinator will be Okay for you I think.
Best of Luck! Sathyanadh.

Hi,

It's very good that you want to start off soon. I say it's good that you are working while studying in correspondence. Because, as corresponce courses add less weight age to career when compared to that of regular courses. I say, it's a good option to work while doing studies, especially while pursuing in correspondence.
