In one of the interviews, I was asked that "What experiment will you do if given a chance for the selling of the coca-cola's product". Am seeking reply for this. I believe I was rejected because of this question.
Dear Mamta,
Greetings for the day!!!
Answer is very simple that you need not to do any experiment on the same as Coke is a well known name in the feild of Soft Drinks.
You just need to focus on the market demands, promotional offers, best deals in trems of quality & cost.
Just compare your product with compitetors and provide a deals better then your compitetor.

Dear Mamta,

You could have told something like this:

Most of the Coca Cola products are for youngsters. To increase the market penetration, I would have experimented with old people. As an experiment, I would have designed an ad wherein I would have shown a 80+ year old person wearing jeans, taking sips of Cola and munching potato chips along with it.

Another weird ad is to show 80+ year old person making small pieces of potato chips, dipping them into Coca Cola and then taking it with spoon.

The question was addressed to test your creativity, check how fast you think etc.

When questions of this kind are tossed to you, you should answer them without bothering whether interviewer will laugh at you.

Once I was conducting training programme on interview handling. While conducting mock interview, I asked one BHM student why did he take hotel management? He told that he likes to see smiling faces of people, happy faces of people and wanted to make people happy.

As a counter question, I asked then how come he did not become clown in circus? He would have seen smiling and happy faces forever and he would have made people also happy. But then the boy did not stumble. He told me calmly that "it did not occur to me to become joker else I would have become one. I have spent whole lot of parent's money on BHM course and now cannot go back and become clown".

Later in the debriefing, I told him that I liked his calmness and he handled the question without loosing control of emotions. Secondly, he had given answer without batting an eyelid. I appreciated his impromptu reply.

@ Neer: Thank you sir for your valuable suggestion. But when with different words I said the same thing, the concerned person asked, still I seek an example, if you get a chance. It just to know how hard can you think about making he company rise.
@Dinesh: A real thanx sir. The small example which you gave was even quite motivating for me which reminds me of an incident where an HR of a company asked me some question and I was doubtful about that. Still very confidently I replied to it & he pointed that I was wrong, but I sticked to my point with so much confidence that finally seeing my confidence got selected. Although after selection, he corrected me.
I replied to him by saying online auctions & e-shops can be tool thru which we can experiment the selling. Even quizzes at crowded places/schools/institutions can be another one. I dont know why I was rejected giving this answer.
