Hi Prachi
It is very sad to understand such things from your post. I am sure as a HR person you have contacts with good Manpower Consutlants there in Delhi. Get in touch with them immediately.
Infact, I am sure you will be getting a good quality HR job sooner than you anticipate in Delhi since the recent statistics says, Delhi adn Pune are the 2 regions in India where the HR industry is booming and there is a great demand for HR people in these 2 cities
All the very best
Incase you need any consultant contact, do let me know. I will help you out

Dear Prachi,
If no increenment is the philosophy of ur company and u have decieded to leave the job if u get a better one, so dear pl don't upset ur self by future uncertainities. I would like to know that have u ever discussed the matter with ur higher authorities refering ur results.

Prachi...
Though a bit upset to read your mail.
Can you tell me what is your total experience?
Do you mean to say that no one in your present company get promotion or increments? That is practically impossible.
Are you MBA? What are your career Aspirations? What type of growth are you looking for? Where do you see yourself after 3-5 years?
It is easy to get job...no doubt you can find one soon. But it is important to understand as what do you actually looking for in your career and profession.

Dear Prachi :

It is surprising and paining to understand that there is no Increment, promotions awarded, and still the Company has recruited a HR personnel.

There is something amiss here. Pls find out the exact status - may be that the Compnay might not have the Performance Appraisal system but without increment ... doubtful.

In that case what about the existing employees who have joined earlier than you. Havent their salary been revised... pls check and get it confirmed.

Further, if there is no increment policy, why dont you propose one with an emphasis that the Company has to have an increment and promotional policy which will certainly be required for the growth of the organisation and the employees.

As HR professional, pls see the positive side of every thing, win over obstacles and sail thru the difficult phase rather than quitting the job. If you cannot get the right things done, some day some body has to and will do it. Why not that some body be you and that some day be today .....

Cheer up, Good luck and all the best to you.

Prachi,
From your few lines it is hard to assess the real nature of your situation. Before you make a change in your job think hard. This could be the challenge that can turn your career for the better. As I said, it is difficult to give you quality advice without knowing more about your organization and whether this predicament of yours is indicative of 'anti-employee' attitude overall. Even if that is the case you have the challenge to make some contribution.
And, by the way, not having an annual increment is not a new phenomenon. In organizations today that are driven by objectives fulfillment there is a chance one or all individuals may not get an annual raise. The realities of globalization include some of these aspects that India is just beginning to see. But again, I do not know for sure if that is the reason for your company's policy. Think before you jump ship - this could be your moment of reckoning.
