I have been trained on SAP in USA and I have been successfully using SAP HR system in my current organization. We have all our employee records in SAP System, HRMIS is generated through SAP and salary is processed through SAP. SAP offers you flexibility of sending work flow notification, and you can even integrate/have an interphase between your attendance punching system and canteen punching system and get rid of manual data feeding for salary processing.
I am sure this would have given you an insight about SAP HR.

Though all of us have heard about SAP and know about it in a broad sense, only a few or those who are into SAP working environment know fully or a little good about this concept.
