Dear all, My concern is regarding amendment of standing order
1 in our companies standing order retirement age is 55
2
as per state modal standing order , it has been raised to 60 years
3 on the basis of MSO ,union filed an application to certifing officer to amend it and side by side has filed a civil writ petition in hc for the same
4 before the decision of civil writ petition ,certifing officer passed an order to amaned it without considering the submissions of mangt.
Is certifying officer has power to amend company's certified staanding order on his own???

suggestions are welcomed

Dear Rosy,
In my opinion the certifying officer must have given notice to your management before modifying the certified standing orders as applicable to your unit. He is required to give an opportunity to you as the requirement of this Act. You may approach the office of the C O for further clarification.
