As is the case with a lot of us, I am very confused with a salary package that has been offered. On the face of it, it appears to be a good raise, however what I am worried about is that my monthly take home pay has not increased substantially. Can someone help me in computing what my monthly take home pay would be? The breakup I have is as follows
Basic 340000
HRA 170000
Medical 15000
Personal Pay 284200 (Includes reimbursable components)****
Total Fixed Pay Rs 809200
PF Rs40800
CTC Rs850,000
I have a tax saving mutual fund amounting to Rs48000 and a LIC policy amounting to Rs62000 thus taking my total savings for the year to Rs100,000.00
**** Reimbursement Allowance is as follows
1) LTA Rs 40000 (this is a concern as I will probably never have enuf bills for LTA)
2)Telephone Reimbursement Rs 18000
3) Food Coupons Rs46200
4) Car Reimbursement Rs180000
Any help on this one is hugely appreciated as its very urgent.

on the whole the offer is correct according to general norms. Actulaly yr co., missed other statutory this like Gratuity and Exgratia, Insurance : General mediclaim. Instead showing huge personal pay they should have shown on above head some amount since 40K LTA and Food coupons 46k (IT may not accept this huge amount under this account) may be your company prefers to bear the additional IT on this which you need to pay
