One of our female employee got married i.e. resulting change in her surname. She doesn't have her marriage certificate as of now as well as any identity proof .
she has applied for Pan Card. they are asking for company statement on its letter head saying that person is residing at <specified address> since <specified period>.
My question is should we issue such letter to her or not. if yes, is there any legal consequency we may face regarding same.
if yes, is there any specific format we should follow to avoid such situation.
Pls help me out.........
