Dear Friends
I am working with CTS as a PA. Recently I got selected in a MNC. I am yet to receive the offer letter and so decided to submit resignation only once I get it.
I needed some info on Cognizant's Notice period and relieving policy. The actual notice period is 60 days. But the new company I got selected into can buy some time from cognizant to get me on to their rolls quickly.
I just want to check whether CTS has such policy of releasing the associates by accepting "Time Buying" from other companies. I have searched all CTS internal websites, but couldn't find any information reg. this.
Can anyone please helpout if they have any such information regarding CTS' policy..:?:

Hi Raxy,
Since you are an existing employee of CTS, can you pls tell me in CTS whether notice period amount is calculated on Gross annual salary or only basic salary?
What is the rule in CTS?

Congratulations!!!
CTS notice period is 60 days. Generally, if you have vacation days, the HR subtracts it. But if you are not lucky they will ask you to serve the complete 60 days.
You need to be very careful with the HR. CTS does not have proper documentation on its separation policy and they usually give you suprises before you leave.
