Dear VIpin,
This event apparently opened other employment opportunities to you. Although your gift and talent will make room for you and bring you before kings, it is imperative that you consider your next move regarding whether you should take up a new offer with an attractive pay package, and the same behaviour is directed to you. Would you react? I know how embarassing it can be when disrespected by management, and especially in the presence of your subordinates, but a prudent approach would be to communicate with your manager, respectfully establish some ground rules and inform him of your alternative, should there be a recurrence. Also, you should address with him the issue of rewarding you for your performance and increasing your compensation. He might be fearful that if you leave the company you may take the clients with you and influence the workers to leave. I encourage you to be proactive and act wisely.
