Interesting topic. Yes, I see a big change in people's behaviour. They are all work centric and developing personal relation with any employee has reduced. Nobody bothers if you are going through tough time. They wait for you to make mistakes. Not supportive....This wasn't the case earlier. It was more family like, concerned about other colleagues. Hope this takes a good turn.

Thanks for the reply.I am looking at listing a comparison of the changes in the workplace in the last 10 Yrs in all respects that one can think of.It would would be extremely helpul in case i get as many of your valuable suggestions as posssible.

The evolution has started from being more technically sound and being more and more paperless. It is more often found companies investing on soft wares that can reduce work pressures and paperwork to ensure minimum wastage with the aim of increased productivity. With regards to workplace environment, Coffee machines, some snacks, cafeteria, special benefits to women employees, leave calendars, incentive based packages, etc have been added to boost of the morale of the employee. Workplace hygiene has taken another attention for the employee to remain stress free if they have to spend long hours at work. This all though in the Indian context has changed, has been emulated from the culture that is so called "global" on the basis of surveys being conducted there and given focus on workplace culture and its effects on employees.
