I've around 3+yrs in HR domain. I did my MHRM from Pondicherry university through Distance Education 4 yrs back and my UG is BE(EEE). But some comapnies like Infosys and other companies when dey call, after knowing dat i've done my Masters thro' DDE they are not calling back and few people say directly dat dey are looking for candidates who have done MBA in regular. So is it advisable to do MBA in Correspondence?? Even i've seen some people done regular MBA in some colllege are lagging behind us in work, but with the mark 'Regular' they are easily getting into branded companies..
People have to change the mentality and understand that candidates who have done DDE MBA can also perform even more better than Regular MBAs.

Hello,

You these days the person who is working in an organization have no time to enroll for regular course and in these situations he/she can get degree from distance learning and we are getting most of the information from online so how can you say DL provides worth education.

hi venky,
let me know your present location, based on that i suggest a institution may be in MBA or PGDBS (2yrs) Exe-MBA.
Also mark your budget, many of the institutes offering but we can decided based on cost & name of the institution (syllabus) etc.
thanks

Hi,
for those of you working execs, who want to upskill with an MBA - I would suggest the Vertical Learning option of an US MBA offered in India with an option to go to the US for the last 3 months, complete final modules and Industrial Project Tour, stay in the University Campus and Graduation in the US.
check out this site: <link outdated-removed> and call for the US student Program Director - Sara.

Dear Venky,
If you are looking for a knowledge based course, i suggest u go for ICFAI (but its expensive compared to other institutes and moreover this course has vast syllabus and requires time).....Symbiosis is not good in terms of cirriculum (for a degree from reputed institute, symbiosis is good). But in case you are looking for something related to only HR, u can go for Diploma HR courses, they provide 1 year courses, conduct lectures on weekends. These ones allows u to attend lectures, do projects, etc....
Hope this might help u take a decision...
All the best.....
Regards,
Anu
