Not able to come because of health issues taken as resignation
Hi i was serving as a permanent employee when i stopped going because of fake reporting by manager and unnecessary pressure and drama in the company. i reported health issues after hr sent a notice. i replied to the same email asking for relieving from duties quoting health issues. now they re saying that they accepted the resignation and require 2 months notice or basic salary in lieu of it. they ve also mentioned project loss. what should be done now when i am really tense to even go there under the pressures they have put and the lies they re telling. is there a way out from thw company without paying back when i don t want a relieving or compensation myself?

Hello all i m working in it industry in india. on 1st july 2010 i joined new organization. my last working date with past employer is 28th june 2010 all formalities with my past employer was completed except final settlement and relieving letter. a week later on 8th july 2010 i received the relieving letter and cheque for final settelement. my last salary receipt june 2010 correctly mentioned no. of working days as 28 28th june being my last working day whereas the relieving letter has incorrect relieving date as 26th june 2010. the same was brought to the notice of hr from my last employer. there is no reply after few reminders. hr from my new organization accepted the same relieving letter. if i keep the same relieving letter without change will it cause any issues in future? experts please comment/ advise.
Relieving issues - since the background verification processes are usually very strict, it looks like my entire career is doomed
One of my past employers did not give me a relieving letter as i gave 30 day notice period but the employer is asking me to serve 90 day notice period i told them that i can t serve 90 days i can serve 30 days only. after left from orientation because of family issues. my life was turned into hell in that company and i was so frustrated that i had to leave without exit formalities. it was an initial period of my career and i did not know the importance of a relieving letter or any other professional documents. i served that company for 4 years. after leaving that company i joined two other companies by telling them in advance that i was working in that company and did not have a relieving letter from them. now i want to get a job in some mnc and know that i will need to submit all relieving letters of my career for the background verification process. since the background verification processes are usually very strict it looks like my entire career is doomed. so how to manage this situation
The importance of a relieving letter- is it really necessary
I want to know the legal issues involved if i leave the company without getting relieving letter. my scenario is i have joined this company two months back and i found that the work they promised is nowhere near to work they are giving me. so i searched for a new job and found it. now my present company is not ready to relieve me before 1 month even though i am ready to give one month salary. so if i just stop going to office and join my new company will there be any legal issues. thanks and regards devendra
Did not realise the difference of relieving letter or experience letter
Hi all i was working for a large software mnc in chennai and was with the company for almost 6 years. but recently i was terminated not because of my performance or any monetary issues nor any sexual harassment but for some other not so great reason the hr had called up for a meeting and they said that they will not issue a relieving letter since i am being terminated but they would provide experience letter. i did not realise the difference of relieving letter or experience letter and i just agreed as they were willing to give me a experience letter. they also mentioned that they would not disclose any information about me being terminated to my future employers. but the problem started now when my new company that i am about to join is requesting for my relieving letter and experience letter from my previous organization. i am in a dilemma as i dont have my relieving letter but only my experience letter. can any of the hr people guide me on this? will be much grateful if anyone can be emphathetic and answer me? regards.
