Hi
You can start out on your own, first prepare an exact plan of action, what topics to be covered, no. of hours you will talk on, who is your target participants. Next plan of action is to give a demo of this seriously to your own close circle. Then you start advertising by word of mouth or in the newspapers.
It works and then you can start as a freelancer for corporates.
All the best. That's the way I started.

Yes I can understand, thanks SMITA and DHANRAJ for your advice.
I prepared a plan of action on the different topics that I will be discussing. But the doubt that I am having is How can I start my very first session. As you can understand the first impression is going to be the long lasting impression. It is not matter of standing with confidence and speaking on certain subject, it is the matter of "WHAT TO PRESENT" in the very first session.
Plese guide!!!
Thanks in advance

Hi
First impression is the best impression , start your session with a small motivational story and ask the opinion and thought of the audience and according to their thoughts continue your presentation with interactive session, All the best

start with your close friends and give them the presentation. focus on what value you can give to them. and after the session see that they are motivated or bored. or you are presenting the wrong topicl. if you make the presentation to 5-6 group of peoples at no cost. you start understanding the pattern of the people. than start with stranger in the park/community at free of cost. you can approach the office/school for free workshop. and i do not think that they hesitate to get a free workshop in their office and school. and in this way you can help them and this also help you to identify what they want and what value you are providing. and ask for the feedback.

please do not try hard to be successful at your early workshop. instead try to be failed in the initial stage. if you focus on your success instead of giving value to them than you are surely fail. start the workshop with accepting your failure in mind and start learning from each workshop that how can you provide good value to people. people come to your workshop not to hear your lovely voice, or see your gesture they are coming for solution of the problem they have in their life. if you are not in suit and not speaking well but speaking their language and also providing them the solution they will start taking you seriously.

it is my humble suggestion to you to expect failure in your initial stage and give free workshop to the people in office, or children in the school. i think no office and school denied to have a workshop free of cost in their office. in this way you not only help them but also help yourself by getting feedback and you are going to realize that what part of the presentation is wrong and what you can do about it. i think i have already write it in above paragraph.

i think it work for you. if you have any question than please let me know.

Bravo Sanjaybhaiyya and Dhanrajbhaiyya,
I appreciate your verrrrrrrrrrrrry valuable suggestions. You have asked me to follow very perfect guideline. I will be now working on preparing my own intro-talk, so that I can then introduce my workshop to various aspect of society as you advised.
Still let me ask you a doubt, please guide me about what should be the 'probable(?)' contents in this intro-talk so that we can get attention and curasity of the attendees...
Hope to have very valuable suggestions in this regard..

i think you do not get the point. your mind is focus on not making the mistake in front of the people. you are asking my advice because you want that you should not be looked fool in front of group of people. your focus on yourself instead of giving value to the people. if i am coming to you to listen to you than my only objective is that i should get some help from you so that i can use that help in finding solution of the problem i am facing right now. if you are focus on providing the value to me than i did not look your appearance or introtalk.

please divert your mind from not making the mistake and impressing the group to making a value to the group. if you are sincere and really heartly looking to provide the value to the group you are lecturing than this problem does not arise. than you inside know that what kind of intro and other things required.

and i have already told you that please fail as fast as you can. because failure is not only necessary but also very almost fate of you in the initial stage of this career. and the more you fail the more you learn about your mistake and grow immediately. the more experience you have and the more idea you can use to be more beneficial to the people.

take the example of google. when google start making the product they show their product in the google lab. (some time back. right now i do not know what it called). what google do. he got an idea and convert that idea into a software product which is in a rough and early mode and present it to the google lab and people use that product and tell their problem and also give some suggestion. and when the product appeal to the people they take the product and launch in their mainstream product list. and if the product does not bring any appeal than they drop the idea or product. do you know that 90% of the product in the google lab gone to be failed. but inspite of this they are the most innovative company in the world and beat the microsoft.

you do the same. do what you think is right in front of the less important people. so that i does not feel shame that you are not working fine. and when you refined yourself enough than come to the important people who are your customer and give them flawless presentation.

hope this help you.
