Dear Pavani,
As per the provision of Employees' Provident Fund & Misc. Provisions Act 1952 an employees after contributing to the Pension Fund for 10 years can become eligible for getting pension at the age of 58 years or 50 years (reduced pension) as per choice of the member.
In the event of employees left the service after 9 years can opt for withdrawal of pension contribution or apply for Scheme Certificate from EPFO. Incase the employee joins in any other organisation which is covered under Employees' Provident Fund & Misc. Provisions Act 1952, then he can produce the Scheme Certificate to EPFO for inclusion of past contribution period to the Pension fund.
