Hi all,
I was earlier employed with an organization and served them for over 6 years. I resigned in Mar 2002 after giving proper notice and also have the relieving letter. The final settlement including Gratuity was pending and they said it would be done shortly. Till date the settlement is pending and they have still not given me a clear indication on when my dues will be settled. I used to have a good rapport with the Chairman who is based in US and have been in constant touch with him too. But all this is leading me nowhere and all I get to hear each time I call is that there is a financial crunch.
How do I recover my money?
Help!

have you claimed for your gratuity
as per law gratuity should be paid within 1 week time as you claim for it.
so now you have to give an intimation to the HR department of previous company that you will file a complaint against them if they will not pay the gratuity amount
