Hi All, I am a Student in HR. I have decided to start a HR Club in my institute. I have framed a formal structure for the club.
I would like to have more inputs from your side as to what all activities can be conducted.
Thanks and regards,
Ashley

Hi Ashley,
That is a good gesture of yours :)
You can have seminars/paper presentations by students with HR fraternity charing it or as panelists and speakers.
You can form a network of HR personnel and organize monthly guest speakers and invite other college students too
Ensure that you have one creative activity evry month under the HR club and invite HR people
Try and organize industrial visits for you college and other college students
Also try to volunteer during Walk ins conducted in and around your city.
All the Best!!

hi ashley,
thats a great opinion..
You have to be very energetic & consistent to make this a success..
Firstly, tell students to become member of the club, think of a good name..
Make a yearly budget of your club keeping in mind the events you would be conducting in a year.(keep cash prizes to attract the students)
also you can tell management to give you an hour or 2 hours free for that activity..
events like:-extempores,debates-on smaller scale & HR Conclave in Large Scale.target attractive brands in that conclave & attract students.
also that can also be of your help in placements in near future.
Do all this & take support of HR faculty (as they are never supportive)
make an advisory body as you alone cant do all this..
Not A Diificult task at ALL!!!
Give it a BEST Shot!!!Best of Luck!!!
Hope this mail will be helpful..If anything else,do ask me...
From which institute are you from????
