You know I'm trying my best to look for the profile of an Insurance Trainer, and I've got 4 years of experience in sales. Along with an MBA, Licentiate of the Insurance Institute of India, Derivative of BSE, and also pursuing a T&D Diploma from ISTD. All these academics and experience, but I couldn't get my dream profile.
Shashi, all these details I'm giving to you because people like you are so lucky to work for this profile, and you don't have to ask for a presentation for insurance training. Dost, don't mind, but I believe God has been with you when you got this job.
Insurance is not just a subject of training; it includes a lot of basics. So please don't take insurance for granted because there are guys who are capable and efficient, trying their best to get into a profile like you might have got very easily.
Shashi, truly speaking, I'm not against you, but when I see a case like yours, I feel disheartened. My advice is to read the two important books of Licentiate; they are not very heavy, and you'll be able to make your presentation, which will be the best of yours.
I don't know which city you are in, go through the website of the Insurance Institute of India and get the office address. Buy the books; they will cost Rs 75 per book.
And lastly, please accept my apologies if any of my words have hurt you.

Hi Shashi,
I probably could have helped you. However, the training PowerPoints that I have created are copyrighted as they are specific to the clients that I deal with and cannot be shared due to compliance violation. However, I surely can assist you with a few tips that I learned in my 10 years of working for various insurance clients in BPOs. You can work on creating your own tailor-made insurance PowerPoint presentation since insurance is a vast subject where you are dealing not only with products but also with individuals, each with their own perception.
A few points to note are:
1) Since the subject of insurance is very dry in its entity, people tend to feel bored at the mere thought of this topic. So, what you need to do is pick up some real-life examples and create a story revolving around the principles of insurance against that real-life case study. For example, in sales, you can start with Utmost Good Faith of selling the right product to the customer, indemnity, contribution, subrogation, etc.
2) Pick up difficult situations from your live audience that they have faced and then incorporate sales techniques into the presentation. For example, when dealing with customers, don't directly dive into the product; understand and listen to the customer. Understanding and picking the right nerve of the customer and then tailoring the product according to their needs (Iceberg Model) can help you understand this better. This shows that the customer is like an iceberg; what you see is just the tip, but what they really want is hidden. What we need to do is expose that hidden part and then evaluate our product.
3) Depending on the product (life, health, or property) you are creating the training for, have some really nice visuals and create a storyboard. It's very simple; just pick, for example, a life insurance, its importance in an individual's life, and have some nice visuals. Attach them to a story and create a presentation where you don't have to speak; let people realize the importance and then have a discussion and prove your actual points related to the basics of insurance: what it is, why it is important, what are the different categories, who needs it, and how it helps in situations arising out of risk. Explain the types of risk and also the contract and agreement part, with the jargon used in the insurance industry like policy, beneficiary, death benefit, premium, etc.
4) Create an assessment based on every section of your presentation and try to create assessments by asking questions related to scenarios so that they can relate better than just asking straightforward questions.
I am trying to search for a presentation that I can send you across. Meanwhile, I hope this information helps.
