where's your HO? sometimes getting things for newcomers takes time 2-3 weeks. patience is the catchword. at the same time draw the attention of your boss that you are not able to work productively due to lack of support. don't wait for company to provide with laptops. new ones take time to come. also as a newcomer, you cannot expect certain things immly. if your Bank Account is with one having Pan India access (which most have), then continue with your existing account (better continue with it).
this also makes sense since you have continuity in your account and it will be easy for you to approach for loans and other benefits. don't directly get in touch with HR unless insisted upon by your boss. Better draft a mail to him and send it across highlighting your requirements and also for a time frame when these can be accomplished.
Draft to your immediate senior:
i had joined the company on July 27 as ...... (specify your role). However, I am yet to receive my appointment letter. Also I am awaiting my Business Cards, ID and laptop. Since I will be working out of town, I would require these as proof of my being employed by the organisation. request you to kindly help me in receiving the same at the earliest.
this will enable me to start working in earnest.
i do hope that my request will be given immediate attention and help me deliver my role for the organisation.
my account number for salary and other financial services is Bank Name, Branch and account number
hope this should be okay with you
