Why is your distance learned MBA of no use?
Is it a case that you expected a meteoric rise through the ranks once you held the qualification and this hasn't happened?
Is it because you didn't manage to network? - This is a major disadvantage of distance learning.
Is it because your distance qualification isn't recognised?
or..... Please tell us.
Until you understand exactly why this MBA is of no use to you, it is very difficult to advise you how to go forward. Please help us to help you. :)
What do you actually want from your career?
Was this MBA a thought through strategy to develop your career, or was it that you just thought it might help you? - What advice did you take to confirm the suitability of this qualification?
My experience (for what it's worth) is that people expect far too much from the letters MBA after their name. - And yes, I do hold one myself. ;)

I guess aartiji , you are confused with yourself. There are no shortcuts to success. The three letter word MBA is not an instant ladder to success. From the language you have used in your mail, it seems you first need a course in English language writing. Companies who bring people on board see a lot of other factors while hiring apart from the degree.
Regarding distance MBA, I have with me people who have become CEOs and PMs with distance learning MBAs and believe me some of the courses like from ICFAI, IIM, IMT are pretty tough and gruelling.

aaritji i suggest you to do a course in SAP HR....or else continue wht you are doing for 1 or 2 yrs and start looking for change...

This is my openion that your experience and perfection in work is more important to become successful in hr field instead of having a degree.

Hi aarti,,,
Even i m pursuing a MBA from IMT and working as HR. I ddn't think that it was useless, even it was very beneficial. MBA is all about one's practical knowledge and official ettiquetes. Ya i agree its tough to gt a job 4 DLP's ones bt if you have a knowledge no one can stop you.....
All the best dear.........just have your confidence with you.. Joining other courses are just wastage of money. Continue with your job and try to gather gud knowledge in your field...

Hi Friends,
Just would like to know how does doing a course in SAP HR help. I have done my Masters in HR and have been mostly in the field of Training and Recruitment.
