That behavoiiur is not acceptable. Well as my colleagues have poited out, a genetral memo informing all staff of decorum should be posted. tereafter if the act is repeated, the meomo becomes a vbasis for disciplinary action.

Just mail or paste some instructions. I think that will help the situations, no need to raise it further. He is a senior and will understand who is being pointed out.
Is the person aged? Is he keeping good health ?

Hello,
I completely agree with Geeta's views. Ettiquettes and mannerism is very important for a senior person as he sets an example for the juniors...
I guess, you should draft him an e-mail (ofcourse individually) in a very subtle and diplomatic way and ask him to maintain the office decorum.
Hope this helps!
All the best!!

i feel, you can or you can ask his best friend to politely tell him not to keep his leg on the table when he is sitting alone. i am sure he will stop it.

Well i dont think its a serious issue as he is not doing it in front of his seniors. And u konw sometime people fell relax by doing that. In America this is very normal thing, students in Library or professionals in training rooms often do that. So it actually depends what kind of culture is there in your company.

Yes this is a serious issue and against office decorum. Someone senior to him must counsel him and advise him to refrain from this habit.
