hi, i am working in pharmaceutical industry and looking into the field hr. i want to do some activity to motivate my field staff sitting at HO. can you suggest some of the activities for the same? waiting for the reply....

I want to do the activity for my medical representatives. Till date its the performance based incentives which include the foreign trips or cash rewards. But this is only for the performers. I want to do the activity for all
Fine, there are both moneotry and non monetory tools for motivation
As you iwsh to include all the employees - you can go for a suggestion scheme week, whereby you can ask for various suggestions from everybody to increase the market and customers. Try to make a team of 2 emploees this will held in team building and will be able to disucss and work out the best means for this.
We have found that these junior staff come out with excellent ideas ! !
Beside motivation you can get some good tips for implementation also
Give an apperacition to those who have participated. Give some prize to the top 5. Let the CEO/ Direcotr from Corporate give these prize during his visit. Pulbish it in your newsletters and mail it to all your Email Id users.
This will mkae the non participants start working to be in the same ship and not feel embarrased.

Hi,
You can even starting thinking of developing your own employee learning cirlce(ELC) where in you can ask them to read a book of their choice under Management Development, Personality Development or Sales related and ask them to form a team in the respective areas and present the learnings to all as part of the knowledge empowerment.
Once you find it successful then it can duplicated everywhere and imagine the kind of learning by every employee on the field.

You can start up by sending greetings to your staff members, rewarding them for their performance like Best employee of the month etc. you can also have a HR folder or an intranet for employees have you have sections like motivation stories, quotes, jokes, etc.. some entertainment for employees in terms of some quiz contest by the company.. sports event etc. hope this will be helpful.

We are already doing the same. There is a reward programme for best rep of the region / zone etc. There is bimonthly magazine is there where every thing like sucess stories and jokes are there.
I want to have something new and thats for everyone and which is cost effective
