Dear Prashant,
In my opinion we should write bonus payable days instead of present days in the Bonus calculation sheet as weekly off days can not be considered as present days in a month.

thanks prashant, can you please tell me how the present days are calculated - is it just the number of days that the worker was physically present, or the number of days that he would have been present after taking into account his being absent (i.e. being absent even without having leave to his credit).
could mr khola also throw some light on this also please? thanks.

also prashant, it appears from your calculation that no one exceeds rs 3500 regardless of his wage - is there a yardstick for this? i have been paying as per whatever the wage is (even though bonus is not applicable to us being a charitable organisation not for profit).
will be grateful if you let me know the details - as we still might give ex gratia if they work properly.

you absolutely correct, we can fallow Prashanth, format but Mr. Ganesh's Calculations are correct, because last year we calculate same thing for 250 employees,

your calculation is right, but you should take up to 3500 that is the maximum amount sealing as per bonus act, (new amendment i have no idea,)
First you have to take Basic & DA 3500 or whichever less, on that we should calculate no. of days presented during the month(Example: [(3500(B&D)/26(T.W.D)*20(P.D.M, Assume)*8.33%] final amount 224 will come.

Dear All:
Organization providing two kinds of bonus ( one is Festival Bonus another is Production/Target oriented bonus). Those who are completed one year of service then s/he will be entitled "Festival bonus" is equal of two basic salary for a fiscal year other wise pro-rata festival bonus will be applicable. But this is not applicable for all organization its depend on organization to organization. Some of organization providing Fes. Bonus based on staff service confirmation.
Production/Target Bonus/performances bonus:
There is no rule for that bonus, its depend organization policy and practices but maximum organization are consider staff performances.
